European Steel Day 2019 took place on Wednesday, 26 June 2019 at the Concert Noble in Brussels. Missed the event? You can watch it below:  European Steel Day 2019: Transitioning to the future of EU industry examined the many changes taking place in the EU and the world today – for instance, in environment and trade policy – and how these changes will affect not just the European steel industry, but also sectors related to it. It looked at how policy makers and business leaders intend to continue the transition to a cleaner, more circular EU economy in the coming years.

Getting There

The easiest way to get to the European Steel Day 2019 in the Concert Noble is to use public transport.

From the airport:

BUS: The bus 12 runs a regular service from Zaventem airport, stopping at Place du Luxembourg. It is a 5 minute walk from the terminus at Place Luxembourg.

TRAIN: The train stops ‘Luxembourg’ and ‘Schuman’ are both close by. A regular service runs from the airport to these stations.

CAR/TAXI: A taxi should cost around €35 from the airport. On street parking near the venue is paid, but can be in short supply. Car parks are present in the nearby streets (interparking).

Car or taxi: A taxi should cost around €20 from the Gare du Midi. On street parking near the venue is paid, but can be in short supply. Car parks are present in the nearby streets (interparking).

Metro: The nearest metro station to the venue is ‘Maelbeek’. Board at Gare du Midi, change at Arts Loi for connection to the East-West line 1/5.
